Time, with no personality and seemingly no existence,
has the character to run or stay.
Fleeting from the times when all is fine
and staying when times get tough.
Though making tough times longer, its presence is in the intent.
The part that counts.
When times are great, you don't need it.
"Enjoy the little time you get", that's what they say.
But no. Haste to enjoy the other times,
when time's greater presence is to stay.
Enjoy the times when you feel alone.
Time seems longer, but is on your side.
The journey that time goes through with you.
The times you learn from.
The times you change from.
Becoming new and better, through old and bad.
The times that if skipped, would only pass by.
Without its purpose to be fulfilled.
Without its journey to be travelled.
Times emptiness would roll by,
without its true plan to support its chosen in need.
And us, at loss. Losing our strongest support system.
Unintentionally and unknowingly, losing our most faithful friend.
